Cost
Biology (BIO) classes have standard tuition rates. For the 2024-2025 academic year (fall 2024, spring 2025 and summer 2025), these classes have an in-district rate of $140 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.

Current Students
Current students, interested in biotechnology, may apply for one of four paid research positions for the summer of 2025. Participants who complete the program will receive $1,000.
• Hybrid coursework/lab at 69·çÁ÷: March 17-May 9
• Hands-on research at UIS: May 20-June 18
Students must have completed biology 111.
