Hiring Process

Candidates interested in employment with Lincoln Land Community College must apply to a specific position. General applications will not be accepted. Additionally, only applications submitted through the will be accepted. Faxed, mailed or dropped off applications will not be accepted.

 

Staff positions come open when there is an actual vacancy to fill. Upon submission of your application, you will receive a confirmation email. A committee made up of the hiring manager and other employees will review and rate all applications and identify whom they wish to interview. The Human Resources office will call those selected for an interview. Those not selected for an interview or for the position will be notified via email. It can take several weeks to complete the hiring process.

Adjunct positions come open when there is an actual need or assignment. In some instances, a position will be posted to build a pool of qualified candidates for future use.

The department dean and faculty coordinators review all applications and identify whom they wish to interview. The department dean will call those selected for an interview. Those not selected for an interview or for the position will be notified of that via email. It can take several months for departments to complete the review of submitted applications.

Contractual positions come open when there is an actual need or assignment. In some instances, a position will be posted to build a pool of qualified candidates for future use.

All applicants will get a response to the final status of their application either by a phone call for an interview or email. The hiring manager will conduct the review of applications, identification of candidates for interview, and final selection for the position.

Current 69风流 students enrolled in at least six credit hours a semester (with the exception of the summer semester) who are making satisfactory academic progress and not on academic probation or suspension are eligible for student worker positions. These part-time opportunities exist at all 69风流 locations.

Students cannot work more than 20 hours per week and the work schedule for each position are included in the vacancy posting on the website.
