Where there is hot or cold weather, there is a need for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration professionals. Individuals who like hands-on work and can tolerate extreme temperatures should consider a career in this high-demand field. The nine-month certificate program prepares students to enter directly into the workforce.
- Learn to install, repair and maintain HVACR equipment.
- Train on modern equipment in our state-of-the-art facility.
- Learn from instructors who have experience working in the HVACR industry.
- Skills learned can be used to become an HVACR mechanic and installer, home appliance repair technician, energy auditor, maintenance and repair technician or construction building inspector.

For fall 2024, spring 2025 and summer 2025, air conditioning, refrigeration and heating (ARH) classes (except ARH 210 and ARH 220) have a tuition rate of $210 per credit hour for in-district residents. ARH 210 and ARH 220 have a standard in-district rate of $140 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.
