Industrial techs have the knowledge to jump in and repair or maintain high-tech machines used in factories, warehouses, hospitals and more.
- Practice your troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Work with tools and tech; hand tools, power tools and computer systems to repair and upgrade machinery, ensuring it all operates safely and efficiently.
- Understand pneumatic, hydraulic and mechatronic systems, and how to use programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Learn basic electrical skills, welding and computer-aided design (CAD).
- Earn portable, stackable certificates which can lead to an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Cost
For fall 2024, spring 2025 and summer 2025, air conditioning, refrigeration and heating (ARH) and welding (WEL) classes (except ARH 210 and WEL 135) have a tuition rate of $210 per credit hour for in-district residents. All other classes in the program have a standard in-district rate of $140 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.
