SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College announced the 2024 royals during homecoming games on Wednesday, Feb. 21, capping off three days of activities.
This year’s 69·çÁ÷ Homecoming Royals Dane Foster and Olivia Marchizza were announced during halftime of the women’s basketball game. Foster is a business major from Sedalia, Missouri. He is a member of the men’s basketball team. Marchizza, from Auburn, plays on the women’s basketball team and is pursuing a degree in science. She is an officer in Phi Theta Kappa academic honor society and a member of the honors program.
Students were nominated for homecoming royalty by 69·çÁ÷ faculty, staff and students based on their involvement and contributions to the college, then selected by a vote of the student body. Other nominees included Isaac Barrett from Sherman, Kevin Ehorn from Chatham, Rayna Herzog from Springfield and Hannah Shoemaker from New Berlin.
